Stanford Purchasing Card (PCard) transactions may be selected by Financial Management Services (FMS) for audit to obtain additional information or supporting compliance documentation. When this occurs, the verifier must review the request and provide the required response.

Before You Start
- A PCard transaction has been selected for audit by FMS.
- The verifier has received either an FYI notification or a workflow notification requiring a response.
- Go to Oracle Financials
- Select Login
- Enter SUNet ID and password, if prompted
- Select SU PCard
- Select the Response link under the Action Required: Transactions Selected for Audit table
- Follow the recommended actions shown in the Compliance Description
- Enter a response stating that action has been taken in the Response Comment box If backup documentation is required, return to the PCard Worklist to Upload Attachments.
- Select Send to Auditor
Some transactions are flagged for informational purposes (FYI only). Verifiers receive an FYI notification and should review and acknowledge it by selecting OK.
What Happens Next?
- The auditor reviews the response and any attachments. If additional information is required, another notification may be sent.
- Once the audit is complete, it is marked as closed, and the transaction is removed from the audit list.
