PCI Compliance Migration: We will begin moving select information between the PCI Compliance and Fingate websites through the Fall months.

PCI Compliance Training Available for non-Stanford Users: For departments who hire non-Stanford affiliated casual workers, volunteers, or third-party vendor employees to assist with credit card processing activities, ensure they each complete the PCI compliance training prior to those activities.
2021 Annual PCI Compliance Validation:Department merchants are required to complete the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) to evaluate and report their compliance in a timely and accurate manner. From late September to October, Merchant Services will host a series of PCI compliance workshops to provide a virtual walk-through of various SAQ types.
Fingate Enhancements: FMS has implemented some changes to the Fingate website's search functionality effective August 1, 2021 that will improve the merchant user experience. These changes are a result of a deep dive study of the site analytics, user experience polls and direct feedback from the site's audience.
Merchant Services vs. Card Services: Stanford purchasing cards (PCards) and travel cards (TCards) are outside the scope of Merchant Services. These expense card programs are for individuals making purchases and traveling on behalf of the university and are managed by Card Services.
