SU Internet Procurement (iProcurement) is used to purchase goods and services through a suite of connected systems including Stanford’s Amazon Business account, SmartMart Catalog Suppliers, Non-Catalog Requests and SmartMart Contracts. The iProcurement home page also includes a direct link to CardinalTemps, where users can initiate a requisition to hire temporary labor.

Each component of the iProcurement suite serves a distinct purpose; understanding those purposes helps staff make effective purchasing decisions.
- Amazon Business account in iProcurement is the recommended method of purchasing goods. Amazon Business offers similar access to items on its public website with stricter seller vetting and approval, plus additional business-specific items for all Amazon Business account members. - SmartMart Catalog Suppliers is an online catalog of specially-priced goods from pre-negotiated suppliers that offers a wider selection of lab and medical products than Amazon Business. Learn more in the Learn About System: SmartMart Catalog Suppliers.

Using iProcurement facilitates the transaction approval process prior to the payment being made, which supports accurate, reasonable and appropriate use of Stanford’s financial resources.

New users of the iProcurement suite must complete the following requirements:
