Stanford Travel Connect is a web portal that enables travelers to link their airline loyalty accounts to the Stanford Travel Program. Once linked, travelers can book university-sponsored travel directly on airline websites or apps while accessing Stanford-negotiated discounts and exclusive university benefits.

- Situations where direct airline booking is preferred over travel agent services

Expense Reporting
Transaction Preparers: When completing a travel expense report, select "Stanford Travel – Stanford Travel Connect" as the booking method when airline receipts reference Stanford University, Corporate Fare, or Corporate Discount.
Access
All active faculty, staff, students, and affiliates have access to Stanford Travel Connect and must log in to the portal with their Stanford email (SUNetID@stanford.edu) and password via Stanford single sign-on (SSO). The site will not accept alias emails or other domains.
Before booking travel, link each airline loyalty account through the portal. This is a one-time setup per airline, and travelers only need to return to the portal to link additional airlines as they become available.
After linking accounts, travelers book travel directly on the airline's website or app—not through Stanford Travel Connect. Log in to the airline site using your airline loyalty account credentials (not your SUNetID). Stanford-negotiated discounts and exclusive university benefits will automatically apply when searching and booking reservations.
