The new Sequoia HR and payroll system, and the connected work of the Pinnacle project to define and update related processes, will mean some changes for the finance community as we prepare for launch. Replacing outdated technology and bringing key HR, payroll, and talent functions into a single, streamlined platform, Sequoia is part of a 10-year university technology strategy called Renew-Extend-Replace. In addition to the system updates, the Pinnacle project also includes changes to programs and processes that will enhance consistency across schools and units and increase transparency of information.
