Stanford Travel Connect enables travelers to link multiple personal airline loyalty accounts to the Stanford Travel Program. Once linked, travelers can easily access Stanford-negotiated discounts and exclusive benefits when booking university-sponsored travel directly through the airline’s website or app. For more information, see Learn About System: Stanford Travel Connect.
Link Your Airline Loyalty Accounts to the Stanford Travel Program with Stanford Travel Connect
Before You Start
Please have all necessary airline loyalty account details available to facilitate the process. Ensure your legal name in StanfordYou matches your airline loyalty account profile and government issued ID exactly. If it does not, visit: Change Stanford University Traveler's Profile Name.
- Log in to Stanford Travel Connect with single sign-on (SSO) using your Stanford email address. Only use your SUNet ID @stanford.edu. The site will not accept alias emails or other domains.
Once logged in, link your loyalty account with participating airlines just once. After this one-time set up, you only need to return to Stanford Travel Connect as more airlines come online and you need to add them.
- Select Join next to the airline account you wish to link with the Stanford Travel Program.

- Enter your airline loyalty account membership number. Your name will pre-populate from your Stanford HR record. The name here must match what you have in your loyalty account profile and on your government issued ID exactly. If your legal name in StanfordYou does not match, visit: Change Stanford University Traveler's Profile Name
- If you do not have an existing loyalty account, you can select Join to be directed to the airlines website to sign up.

- Once you have linked your airline loyalty account using Stanford Travel Connect, you can then book directly on the airlines website and mobile app, where you will see shopping results with applicable discounts applied. Be sure you are signed into your loyalty account before initiating a flight search and select the business travel booking path when booking.

- Please visit the airline manage page at Stanford Travel Connect for further booking instructions and additional program information.
- The university will see only business travel booked through your loyalty account. Any personal travel and private information will remain confidential.
- Business travel booked via a loyalty account linked with Stanford Travel Connect will automatically be sent to and updated in the Travel Registry, which connects the reservation to Stanford’s provider of traveler assistance.
- When preparing the expense reimbursement request, if the airline receipt references Stanford University, Corporate Fare or Corporate Discount, select “Stanford Travel - Stanford Travel Connect” as the Travel Booking Method.
