FMAlite Program (hybrid)

Helpful for: all campus members wishing to gain a fundamental understanding of risk and control.

Agenda will include:

  • 3 Core content sessions, offered only through Zoom on 10/28, 10/29, and 10/30 from 11 a.m. to noon PT. No attendee limit.
    • 10/28: Develop a foundational understanding of finance, accounting concepts, and business drivers.
    • 10/29: Participate in a real-world case study of a recent event involving risks and controls and apply the learnings to your role.
    • 10/30: Engage in discussions with a senior financial leader and FMA program alumni to explore program benefits.
  • LEGO Activity, offered only in-person on 10/31 at the Stanford Redwood City Campus.
    • Learn about risks and controls with LEGOs!
    • Hourly sessions available at 1 p.m. (FULL), 2 p.m., or 3p.m. PT.
    • Space is limited to the first 70 registrants across all sessions.
  • FULL - Lab Tour, offered only in-person on 11/1 at 1:30 p.m. PT at Historic Campus.
    • Take a guided tour of the Product Realization Lab and connect your role to the university's mission
    • Space is limited to the first 30 registrants.

Please note that there are two parts to this event: a set of sessions facilitated over Zoom and another set conducted in person. Although each module offers standalone value, attending all sessions ensure continuity.
