WalkMe is an in-application support tool that guides Oracle Financials system users through system transactions, provides relevant policy information, and keeps users informed about system updates.
WalkMe provides tips and step-by-step instructions that make transaction processes easier to navigate and enables users to engage with in-the-moment support whenever needed.
Features and benefits
WalkMe offers a suite of in-application support options that will support the university community to complete financial transactions including:
- Process Demos: Guide users through tasks with step-by-step instructions (e.g., uploading an invoice) or by automatically completing parts of the process for them.
- Tips: Provide users with timely, contextual information to assist them as they complete tasks.
- ActionBots: Assist users by offering suggested questions in a chat interface, allowing them to complete or automate tasks efficiently.
- Announcements: Notify users to messages that provide updates or reminders, sometimes requiring user action, and often include links to resources on Fingate.

Where is WalkMe available?
Financial Learning Solutions is in the process of building WalkMe solutions for all systems within Oracle Financials. WalkMe solutions are currently available in the following systems:
- iProcurement (Amazon Business, SmartMart Catalog Suppliers, Non-Catalog Requests, and SmartMart Contracts)
- Expense Requests (Expense Reports)
- Supplier Query and Request tool
- Requisition and Purchase Order Query tool
- Purchasing Card (PCard)
New system solutions will be prioritized and added based on audience size, transaction volume, and user pain points.
Who will gain access to WalkMe and how will it be installed?
Through our partnership with central and local IT departments, we expect to expand WalkMe to all users who have been granted authority to access Oracle Financials systems. Learn more about the expansion in the Fingate newsroom.
How can WalkMe users provide feedback?
Feedback helps the Financial Learning Solutions team to enhance the effectiveness of WalkMe in-application support. To provide WalkMe feedback, report a feature issue or request an enhancement use the Send Feedback link within the WalkMe Learning Support menu:
