Quick Steps: View / Print / Pay the University Bill via Stanford ePay
Who does this? Stanford Students and Authorized Payers
When? Students or Authorized Payers want to view or print a copy of the University Bill or when they choose to pay their University Bill online.
How? Using the Stanford ePay web application

Launch the Stanford ePay home page:

Access a printable copy of the University Bill:
- Click View Accounts from the left hand menu options.
- From the Account Summary page, University Account section, select University Bill from the Select Action drop-down box. To view account history, select Billing History.
- Click the Printable Bill link to open a PDF version of the University Bill you are viewing.
- Print the PDF version of your Current University Bill.
- Include your personal check made payable to Stanford University.
- Mail your payment to the mailing address printed at the bottom of the bill.
Note: The Account Summary page will display a summary of the student's University bill.
Note 1: This Printable Bill represents a snapshot of the bill on the date the bill was generated. If changes have been made to the account after the billing date, those changes will be reflected in the Current Balance drop-down option, on the Account Summary page.

Pay the University Bill Online via Stanford ePay (3 steps)
Stanford ePay notifies students and authorized payers by email when their online University Bill is available. To make a payment online via Stanford ePay follow the steps below.
Launch the Stanford ePay home page:

Enter payment type, amount, and method:
- Click Make Payment from the left hand menu options.
- From the Stanford ePay - Enter Payment Amount page, enter the Payment Amount you wish to pay.
- Select a Payment Method.
- If selecting eCheck (i.e. Electronic check), go to Step 3.
- If you set up a Payment Profile, you may choose Select a stored profile under Payment Methods to avoid re-entering your account and contact information each time you pay your University bill.
- Click Continue button.
Note: From the Stanford ePay – Make Payment page, you can make a payment to your University bill.
Note: A Warning will appear if the payment amount entered is more than the amount due.
Enter eCheck payment information:
- Enter Account Information (i.e. account type, routing and account number).
- Enter Contact Information (i.e. Daytime Phone).
- To save your eCheck account information for future use, enter Profile Information:
- Enter Profile Name.
- Check the Save Profile box.
- Click Continue button.
- Click Confirm.
- Click the printer icon from the Payment Receipt page to print a copy of your receipt (optional).
What Happens Next?
- Students and Authorized Payers will receive an email confirmation receipt.
- Students can immediately view their payment information while logged into Stanford ePay.
- Stanford ePay account transactions update financial history (i.e. View Financial History by Term) in Axess on a nightly basis.
