Overview: Finding a Supplier
While Stanford doesn’t mandate use of a particular supplier for commodities and services, the Purchasing & Contracts Office of Stanford University has established Strategic Agreements for goods and services with select suppliers in order to leverage the purchasing power of the University (and in some cases including SLAC and Stanford Hospital). These agreements provide advantageous pricing, delivery, quality, and ease of ordering.
If you don’t find what you need from the suppliers with whom Stanford has Strategic Agreements and/or those listed in Buying Commodities and Services, here are some resources that may help you find a source for what you need to buy:

- Companies Who Have Signed the Living Wage Policy – This is a guarantee that any contracting employees who work at Stanford will be paid a living wage
