Student Employment Opportunities

Many students choose to work part time during their course of study to help with the costs of learning and living while at Stanford. For some, financial aid awards include an academic year earnings expectation, which can be met by working part-time during the academic year. Most students can meet financial aid earnings expectations by working six to seven hours per week, receiving pay through the University payroll system.

Some financial aid packages include Federal Work Study Programs through which students work part-time and are paid with federal funds.
